OPTION 1: Participate in our #SNOWBLADEDAY Photo Contest
From now through March 22, dress up in your most outrageous duds, pop on your snowblades, snap a picture or video of yourself and post it to Instagram with hashtag #SnowbladeDay and you will be entered into our International Snowblade Day photo contest with a chance to win LOADS of gear. No Instagram? No problem. You can upload your photo here.
On March 22, our legendary panel of judges will select a few lucky winners to take home some seriously sweet prizes. They're on the lookout for hilarious, creative, McConkey-level antics—just keep it classy (remember, kids are watching)! PRO TIP: You can enter one photo per day—so the more you submit, the better your chances!

The Origins of International Snowblade Day
On March 26, 2009, the world said goodbye to Shane McConkey, a man who dreamed the impossible, rocked the ski world, and who continues to inspire people around the globe to live their best lives. This year, in honor of his playful spirit and irreverent approach to not taking ourselves too seriously, the Shane McConkey Foundation declares March International Snowblade Month and March 26th International Snowblade Day. So wax up your snow blades and rally to your favorite mountain to celebrate life and pay tribute to a legend.

Each year, we donate to causes that benefit environmental education and directly impact the Tahoe Truckee community.
